Sk8 Jam - February
Don't be fooled by the title – wheels of all kinds are welcome to join in the annual YROA YNOT SK8 Jam at Alexandra Park. The event has gone from strength to strength in the past two years that it's been running, due in part to the support of some big skate names and the willingness of people to GIVE IT A GO!
Riders of all ages and genders bring along BMX, scooters, roller blades and skateboards of all descriptions to have fun and compete.
A special acknowledgment needs to be made to Ben Harris, the owner of Kingpin in Gisborne. Ben and his family truly go out of their way to support our event by sponsoring massive prizes like skateboards, shoes and clothing as well as judging on the day.
