The Hangout - October 2009
The YROA YNOT governance group, Wairoa Community Centre and Sports Hawkes Bay worked together to entertain our youth on 16th October 2009. We had 75 youth aged between 12-24 yrs present on the night. We had local youth bands playing live music with Kiri Gilbert acting as our very entertaining MC for the night. The Community Centre put the venue up at no cost to YROA YNOT for their first event and ran the canteen to accommodate for this. Local whanau donated music equipment for the event to make it a very successful night overall.
