Code of Ethics Training
Code of Ethics training was delivered to youth workers in the Wairoa District for the first time. A full conference room at the Wairoa Community Centre was exciting to see. Wellington Regional Youth Workers Trust offered this free training to our Wairoa Youth Workers, as a trustee representing the Wairoa District I will be supporting the importance of these trainings being offered to Wairoa.
Code of Ethics Ethics training is essential for all Youth Workers. This training provides practical tools to help youth workers apply the Code of Ethics for Youth Work in Aotearoa New Zealand in their everyday practice. The 'Code of Ethics' provides key guidelines for youth workers in Aotearoa New Zealand to ensure that youth work is carried out in a safe, skilled, ethical manner.
